Movie Analysis- Knive Out

Introduction should include a thesis which makes an arguable claim. Should have at least three body paragraphs to support your thesis. Each paragraph needs to include at least two pieces of evidence. In total you should have 6 pieces of specific evidence to support your thesis. Of your six pieces of evidence, each term and one story element should be included. Your conclusion should restate your thesis and summarize your main points.

Understanding- A clear and deep understanding of the film is demonstrated in the paper.

Elements of Film- All elements of film (narrative, mise-en-scène, cinematography, editing, sound) are represented in the paper and show a clear understanding of how the elements work.

Argument-A clear argument is presented and is well supported. The paper has a consistent focus.

Specific Examples-Clear, effective specific examples are used to amplify support for the arguments posed in the paper.

Organization-Writing is well organized and uses creative transitions.

Grammar-A few errors in grammar exist, but they do not detract from the quality of the piece.
